Project Lead the Way

Program Overview

St. Mary's partners with Great Plains Technology Center to provide our students with cutting-edge STEM classes from Kindergarten through 8th Grade.  Project Lead the Way allows our students to develop their literacy understanding, problem-solving, critical thinking, team-building, math application, and analysis skills, as they work through real-world educational problems.

St. Mary's supports this program with a new computer lab, Flight and Space and Automation and Robotics classes and labs for the middle school, as well as IPADs and hand-on materials for the elementary program.

Our students graduate with a greater knowledge of technology, science, and math applications as they move to the next educational level. By creating an engaging learning environment, PLTW empowers our students to develop in-demand skills to pursue rewarding careers, solve important challenges, and contribute to global progress. PLTW also enables our teachers to engage students in real-world learning.
